When is the best time to apply for my Saudi Arabia visa?
The best time to apply for your Saudi Arabia visa is 1-2 months before your travel date.

Do I have to send you my passport to get a Saudi Arabia visa? Is it safe to send a passport?
Yes. You will need to send your actual passport, not a copy of it. The Saudi Arabia visa is stamped on your passport and will become one of your passport pages. Visa request cannot be processed without your original passport. Because of the importance of your passport, we strongly suggest that you send your application in a secure way, using a traceable courier such as FedEx, UPS, Express Mail or Certified Mail.

Enjazit Registration
If you would like us to process your Enjazit registration please allow one additional business day for this process. 
Invitation Instructions
Please be sure that the Consulate location that your Saudi Invitation is sent to matches the location of the Consulate Application that you are completing. (For example: if your Invitation is being sent to the Houston Saudi Consulate, you must complete a Houston Saudi Application Form, and send your application to our Houston office). Each Saudi Consulate has their own individual applications and they will not accept other Saudi Consulate location application forms, regardless of the Invitation.
Female Travelers
All female visa applicants traveling to Saudi Arabia without a male relative, i.e. husband, brother, father, must submit a special MOFA (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) approval obtained by their contact in Saudi Arabia.

Sample of the Business Travel Requirements for a Saudi Arabia Visa for US Citizens

  1. Passport

    You must provide your actual signed passport, including one copy of the personal information page of your passport. Your passport must:

    • Be valid for the next six months
    • Have at least two consecutive blank visa pages (side by side)
    • Not be frayed, torn, separating, or altered in any other way

    If your passport does not meet these requirements, please contact CIBT at for further details.

  2. Photographs

    You must provide two color, passport-type photographs. The photographs must:

    • Be printed on photo paper
    • Be two inches by two inches
    • Have a white background
    • Have been taken within the last six months

  3. Business Introduction Letter

    A letter of introduction from your US-based company is required. Your completed introduction letter must:

    • Be printed on your company’s official letterhead
    • Display your full name, nationality, and job title
    • Display your company’s US address
    • Specify the exact purpose of your trip
    • Specify the number of entries requested and the length of each stay
    • Include your specific entry and exit dates
    • Include the validity of your requested visa
    • Be signed by your supervisor or your company’s Human Resources department
    Included in this kit is a sample Business Introduction Letter for your reference.  Please use the exact language found in the sample when completing your own business introduction letter and include any special requirements listed above.

  4. Visa Application Form

    You must provide one completed visa application form. The application form must:

    • Display your full name as it appears in your passport
    • Be signed
    • Include answers for all fields

  5. Invitation Letter

    An electronic invitation, issued by the Foreign Ministry in Saudi Arabia is required. The organization you are visiting in Saudi Arabia is responsible for obtaining the invitation.  The letter must:

    • Be addressed to the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Washington DC
    • Include the full local address and phone number of the organization or person to be visited
    • Request the same validity of visa as in the Business Introduction Letter.
    • Specify the number of entries you are requesting for your visa

  6. Proof of Travel Arrangements

    You must provide proof of travel arrangements for the duration of your trip.  Details of your intended arrangements must:

    • Include a copy of an itinerary or e-ticket showing entry and exit dates
    • Show the traveler's full name (as printed in his or her passport)

  7. Photocopy of All Application Materials

    You must provide photocopies of all items that you submit to CIBT. Your photocopies must be provided along with the original version of each document. If you prefer that CIBT make photocopies for you, additional fees will be applied to your order. We recommend that you retain a copy of all items that you submit for your own records. Any documents that are specifically addressed to the consulate will not be returned to you.

  8. Enjazit Online Registration

    An online registration with the Saudi Arabian consulate must be completed in addition to your visa application. CIBT will complete this registration on your behalf once we receive your visa application and supporting documents.  You must complete the enclosed Enjaz Registration Release Form in order for us to successfully process your Enjaz registration.

  9. Enjaz Registration Release Form

    You must provide one fully completed Enjaz Registration Release Form.  A {B:EnjazFee} fee is included in your order to complete the Enjaz registration on your behalf.  Your completed release form must:

    • Include your printed name
    • Include your signature
    • Include the date of completion

  10. Notice on Saudi Laws and Regulations

    You must provide one fully completed Notice on Saudi Laws and Regulations Form. Your completed form must:

    • Include your printed name
    • Include your signature
    • Include the date of completion

  11. Enjaz Online Registration

    We strongly recommend that you process your Enjaz online registration through CIBT in order to ensure accurate completion of your registration. However, if you choose to complete this process on your own you may do so at www.saudiembassy.net. Complete the following steps to obtain your registration and submit your payment online:

    • Log on to www.saudiembassy.net
    • Click on “Consular and Travel Services” found in the left-hand navigation of your screen
    • Select the visa type appropriate to your travel needs (Business, Diplomatic, Employment, etc.)
    • Review the requirements specific to your visa
    • Click on the following link to log on to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Website and begin your request https://enjazit.com.sa
    • Select your language of choice from the top navigation bar once you are on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website
    • Select the “Apply for a visa to enter the Kingdom of Saudi embassy abroad by individuals” link
    • Click the ‘I Accept’ button to proceed with your request
    • Fill out the request form in its entirety
    • Click ‘Submit’ once you have completed your request form
    • Print your confirmation page and your payment receipt page
    • Record the reference number provided to you for your records
    • Include this reference number in the top right-hand corner of your Saudi Arabia visa application form

  12. CIBT Order Form

    You must provide one completed CIBT Order Form. The form must:

    • Include a valid email address and payment information
    • Include your signature in blue or black ink
